Family Concert: Scheherazade

Looking for a great afternoon out this autumn? Join us on Sunday 15th November at 3.00pm at Strode Theatre for a concert packed with colourful, exciting music that the whole family can enjoy.

The programme begins with Borodin’s exhilarating Polovtsian Dances, followed by the glamour and energy of Khachaturian’s Masquerade Suite. The concert concludes with Rimsky-Korsakov’s much-loved Scheherazade, a vivid musical retelling of tales from One Thousand and One Nights, full of adventure, drama and unforgettable melodies, with an on-stage narrator telling the story.

This concert also marks a new chapter for the orchestra as we welcome our new Principal Conductor, Harvey Brink.

Families are especially welcome, with two free child tickets available with every adult ticket, making it an affordable way to experience live orchestral music together.
